basslink review
just installed my basslink. i have it mounted int he trunk on driver side corner by the tail lights..
the bass is good. deep and clean. but does not thump like crazy. .like i cant feel it in my chest. . im not an audiophile so that is all good with me.
on rock cds its awesome. the bass guitar sounds like its mean to be heard. no distortion. sounds great with my aftermarket 2 ways. Only in Dreams from weezer sounds friggin awesome now.. there is a massive bassline in there that i couldnt really hear before.
On hiphop,.. it could thump a little harder, but for 200 bucks in not gonna complain.. even so, it sounds clean and deep. it just wont make your heart shake.. i was never a fan of bass that shook the road anyway.
using premeir 740 mp. infiniti ref 6.5 all around. the ref series speakers dont give you great mid bass.. the basslink this totally makes up for it.
conclusion.. if your not an audiophile but still wants a clean sounding bass in your car.. a $200 basslink from ebay is the way to go. its pretty cake to install too. skip this if your a hardcore audiophile..Im 100% content..
