looks good....

nice and clean, no wires and stuff hanging out, looks professional. i like that, you took your time to do it right. how does that square sub sound? is it a kicker sub? i have never seen/heard a square sub before so i was just wondering. i personally would have put 2-8" subs with a amp in the middle, but thats just my preference. keep up the good work. what else have you done to your car (audio stuff), any pics?

Hey, I appreciate the comment. It is a Kicker Solobaric L7 subwoofer. It rocks. As far as the eight's go, i need something more, i was going to do a 15, but I wanted something just slightly cleaner, so the 12 was perfect for me. I have a CVA-1005 and Infinity Kappa's in the front speakers but nothing else too spectacular in the audio department. BTW, the solobaric hits hard as ****!

Looks very nice!
one word of caution.. make yourself a grille of some sort for the sub, or you'll end up ruining the surround & gaskets, possibly even the sub.
my subs look lik crap now because I never put a grille or anything back there and stuff slid around and knocked the gaskets off.

Holy crap that looks awesome. How did you do it? I might try to do something about my computer and then put in a sub and amps... what tools, materials etc did you use?

later,

After running all the wires I built kind of an inverted shelf to (a) mount the amp to (b) mount the Phoenix Gold Farad Capacitor and CD Changer too... After I carpeted the shelf (you can't see that) I mounted everything, and bolted the actual shelf to the trunk. Then I bolted the sub to the trunk and made a cover board. Carpeted the cover board, screwed it in to a beam I installed going from the base of the trunk to the roof of the trunk. That is the very simplified version but i really didn't use anything other than wood, glue and screws. Thanks again.
