Please help me figure out what size speakers go in the maxima???

 

rear speakers on a 96 max are 6 3/4", cuz I just changed them. I suspect the fronts are too.

You can get by with 6 1/2"s.

 

The speakers are actually 6 1/2, but you can fit oversized 6 3/4's (oversized 6 1/2's) in. There is just one issue with the back ones, the speaker hole in the shelf is not always big enough for the new speaker. I put in Infinity Reference 6002i's in (they sound mint) and I had to cut bigger holes in the shelf with a jigsaw:
