Whats the best ground location?

I'm hardwiring a power inverter and it will be under the drivers seat. Where the best place closet to the seat to ground the wire on the chasis of the car?

anything metal under the seat should be okay.. but just to be sure, you could tuck it underneath the carpet real easy and ground it somewhere in there.

I would just use one of the bolts that hold the seat to the floor. Just get a ring terminal large enough to go around the bolt and you shouldn't have any problems.
