Can I install Bose tape/cd in non bose '96?

My girlfriend has a '96 with a tape player, non bose. Can I install a Bose combo unit (cd/tape/radio) from a '95? Will the wiring in the car match the new unit, or is the new unit non-compatible with her existing car?
Thanks for any help
Mike

it's not compatible, since the bose system speakers have built in amps and completely different wiring.

Plus, bose sucks.

Go get a decent aftermarket HU.
