http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...=Y&search=&o=p

I want to replace my 95GLE bose unit with another HU

here is a link from crutch field of all the cheaper HU for cd/mp3. I dont want to spend alot of money. which one is good out of all of that? what is the diffs? what is the watt for? will that make a difference in quality of music played?

where else can i find good headunit besides crutchfield?

thanks guys

Unless you are familiar with this stuff, I recommend going to a local install shop and getting one there that includes installation. If you hit a decent shop, anyplace except Best Buy or Circuit City, they can help you find something that will work for you in your budget. But just keep in mind, they are still salesmen so just be careful.

Shop the hu at crutchfield (internet / call with lots of questions) and buy it elsewhere. They are way to expensive.

I bought my Kenwood KDC-MPV622 on crutchfield for $199..it was on sale..the "sale" price of both local (one is local, one is 32 miles away) was the normal full price from crutchfield..when buying a h/u or amp, I won't buy from one of the close shops, because they always charge more than online sites..I'll go to the real local one to buy cheap stuff like speaker wiring, xovers, patch cords, fuse holders, etc...

Crutchfield runs some pretty awsome deals on some stuff, you just have to catch them..e-bay is still the best source for your car audio needs though ..just be careful..caveat emptor

I don't know how the h/u sounds yet, since I ordered it Friday and it won't be here till somtime late this week, wednsday or thursday I hope..
