which 6.5"s for my 98 Max

I am planning to replace my bose with 6.5" componets up front and 6.5" 3-ways in the back. I was set on getting Infinity Kappa perfects until a kid at told my they suck. He said I should go with Memphis???, Boston Acoustics or MB Quarts. How do these compare to Infinity? He said he can get me those 3 brands for a good price because he knows people. Im guessing he said Infinity sucks because he doesnt have them and want me to buy speakers from him. Any opinions about these speakers would be great.

I like Infinity Kappas and Perfects..I guess some will depend on your taste in music..I personally hate buying speakers without hearing them first..

the CL61a is a great set of speakers! I have one and a half sets of those component sets, and I love them. Great midbass, and a tweeter thats refreshingly different.

Hey, I was thinking of getting these speakers also. Are they a perfect fit? Do you have to do custom wiring or is it compatable? Thanks.

this question really depends on your tastes and how much you are going to spend.

Diamond Audio HEX components should be on your list of speakers to listen to.

i had the stock bose system and the cl-61a's just dropped right into the mounts. i had to run my own wiring though using 16 gauge wire.

The Infinity referance series sound great, the only problem is that they turn to **** later down the road. I just dropped a set of Alpine SPR-176A and SPR-174A for the frount and rear respectively, and they sound great. They sound flawless at high SPLs and clear low, not to mention they look great! Why do all the audio sites say that the Maxima uses 6.75" speakers?? The 6.5"s dropped right in after it took me 2 hours to figure out how to get the old ones out!!

I'm debating on which one of those to get, I suggest getting one of the two.
