1. i have a 98 se with bose, but i want to put a 99 boes deck in its place.(i like the look). is that doable?
2. on the 2k maximas the have stereo controls on the sterring wheel is tha bose deck from the 2k maxima around the same size as the 97-99 or is it bigger.
and finally
is that sterring wheel control only compatable with the 2k and up bose systems?

Any 95-99 h/u will work in place of your 98. Forget the 2k+ it own't fit right. About the steering wheel control, it is simply a remote lead coming from the radio, but the 95-99 h/u wasn't designed with that in mind.
