I am in the need of some quick help.. I took the time to rip about 50 of my CDs into Mp3 and burned them onto a DVD-R disc.. It worked great and I have a collection of about 860+ songs on this one disc.. It works on my home DVD Player and on any computer that plays DVDs, but I cannot get it to read on my indash monitor.. I have the Clarion VRX925VD, which plays CD/DVD/VCD/MP3/WMA, so I figuered it would work.. Does anyone know if this is possible or the the technology not there to get units to pick up the DVD-MP3 format? Thanx in advance..

 

mp3's on dvd won't work, not yet at least.

 

man thats what i need with over 3800 mp3s its tough these days just with normal MP3 cds that hold 200 songs hahaha

 

I have the Fahrenheit DVD unit currently on sale at Crutchfield. it does play MP3s on DVD..... so long as the DVD is not a multi-session DVD (Multiple burns on same DVD)

 

Do you have the DVD-5F or DVD-11N?

the clarion 925 should play them

it said it didnt play dvd + or - r and it does

but its media dependant.

IE. Princo doesnt work but hypermedia does

i dont know about ritek
