I have installed a dvd player in my car, and when it plays, there is alot of static through the radio when a movie plays. I get sound from the movie, so i know the modulator is working, but is there a way to eliminate the static? a new modulator? any help will be appreciated especially if there is a better modulator out there

Try setting the FM mod to another station. There should be a switch on the mod to change it. You are probably on a station that has a local radio station broadcasting on that frequency.
