I had everything loose except the door release. How do you get this thing loose?

I wish the search worked because I am sure this has been answered before.

You mean the piece of trim around the door lever? I can't remember, but you need to push up or down on the trim to release it from some tabs before pulling it towards you. Either the top of the trim needs to be pushed down and the bottom pushed up, or vice versa.

To unhook that you need to pull the wiring harness out of the back of it.
