I have a 97 se with the bose system. I would like to replace the head unit with the newer bose units in 99-01 models. Do you know if it will be a direct replacement? Do they have the same plug in connections.

Also, do you know of any aftermarker cd changers that will be compatible with the Bose head unit.

2000 or 01 will fit.... as for the changer... any disc changer with an RF modulator (if thats how you spell it) will work.. it works through your fm station at like 88.7. i had this on my car when it was bose but the sound since it is going though radio frequencies wasnt the best.. anyways it still worked and if you dont have the money to replace the whole system i recommend this.
