hey guys, i just got 13 square feet of Dynamat Premium. I plan on putting it all over my trunk (except the bottom area where my spare is cause my amp rack is blocking that off. I want to put it on my trunk lid, sides and the backside of where it says MAXIMA on the trunk (sorry forgot name). Now, the problem is that i still have the factory carpeting on held on by those little round clips. After i take off the carpet and put on the dynamat on the trunk lid, should i put that carpet back on..it seems like thats making a lot of the noise. what else should i dynamat? any help or suggestions? how should i cut it? what sizes? thanks
