right now i have inifnity references front and back. 2way coax in back 2way component in front. i'm thinking about upgrading. don't wanna spend a lot but wanna find some more quality beyond refernce. was looking at focal stuff. just their access line, how does it compare to infinity reference or even kappa?

Unfortunately you can't take anyone's recommendation on speaker selection. Every ear is different and every person has a different reference for choosing what they believe to be a good sound. The best advice is to make every attempt to listen to speakers in an environment as similar to your vehicle as possible. Wal*mart speakers installed properly will sound better than Seas Lotus installed without proper regard for placement and a few other basics.

Focal Access line is a great line of speakers.

IMO a great upgrade in build quality, as well as sound quality from the reference line you have.

However, they need to be powered by an external amplifier, or youwont notice much of a difference.
