so you want to upgrade your Bose system AND have a motorized lcd screen?

how can you you do that? You can try puttin in the motorized screen where the sliding tray is (under the bose).
if you have an Auto and your car is either in Park, Reverse, or Neutral, your screen might not come out all the way.
I bought a 7" screen and replaced it for the Bose Headunit. I bought asingle Din Pioneer Headunit and put it where the sliding tray is.

other members have done this to their max too.

i think he's looking to replace the bose headunit with the pioneer. the AVH-P6400CD has an internal 50x4 amp, plus 3 pairs of pre-outs, so there would be no need for the bose headunit. NYR1199, when you're shopping for an in-dash, just make sure it's a brand you trust. if you see one of those too good to be true deals on ebay for an in-dash, it's probably a piece of garbage. hope that helps, and welcome to the .org
