Tweeter placement and 6x9 Question

OK this is my plan! I plan to leave my 6 1/2s in my two front doors (Sony X-Plode) I know! I didn't know what a POS sony was (I'll change them in the future).
None the less I want to get Pionner 6x9s (220 watts each) to replace the existing sony 6-1/2s (160 watts each) I have in the back.
I also want some tweeters. I know nothing about tweeters! What are some good and inexpensive pair of tweeters? I don't know jack about pricing on them or anything.

Does anyone know how much a custom job might run when I get the 6x9s put in the rear deck?
How about the tweeters?
Does anyone have any pics of tweeter placement in their car?
Can you get 2 pairs of tweeters installed?
Pics anyone?

I'm doing all of this to get a decent sound out of my stereo I listen to everything from Dave Matthews, John Mayer, the Neptunes, Ludacris, Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot, and Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz. So I have a need for some speakers that can handle some bass but not sound like I have a huge sub in my trunk. I want a good all around range from my "system". I might, later down the road, hook up an amp to the 6x9s but that won't be for some time.

Thanks to everyone who replies, it is greatly appreciated.

you don't HAVE to get extra tweeters. a good pair of 3-way 6x9's will produce nice highs. i say get a good pair first, then decide if you still want more highs. the Kappa 693.5i 3-way 6x9's sounds pretty good IMO

Like posted above, you dont HAVE to get extra tweeters. In fact it will do more harm than good. Also why are you trying to throw in 6X9s where 6.5s belong? A good set of 6.5s will do the job your trying to do just fine. Speakers are meant to be round, not oval.

WEll I want the 6x9s beacsue I want more bass and I like to race every once in a while so a heavy sub is not what I want. Plus when I went to Dallas I got to ride in is 98 Acura TL (decent inline 5) and it had 6.5s in the front, tweeters where the 4th gen maxima button lights are, and 6x9s in the back. Overall it offered very good highs and lows Way better than my Sony Explode 6.5s all around. I plan to get rid of the sony speakers. I've seen other maxima's setups with 6x9s and I liekd them a lot! So can anyone answer any of the other original questions.

Thanks guys...

i agree with Don - don't cut 6x9's into your rear deck - leave 6.5's in there. if you do some research, you can get a good pair of 6.5's back there, and they will sound better than the pioneer 6x9's you're looking at now. also, for tweeters, if you're going to add them to your existing system, you're only going to want to put them in the front. if you install tweeters in the rear, it's going to ruin your soundstage. here's my advice - scrap the tweeter idea and the 6x9 idea. get yourself some good quality 6.5's for all 4 corners, and you'll be more than happy.
