need help with mpeg files.

I am trying to make VCD's to play in my car dvd player.
I have some WMA files that i want to conver it into MPEG files.
does anyone know how to do this?

WMA is audio only(Windows Media Player Audio)-MPEG is A/V

there is no conversion between the two-its apples and oranges

i have Window Media Audio/Video Files that i want to make into MPEG files.
So is this not possible? I have tons of downloaded Window Media Audio/Video Files that are on imports. and i want to put them on a CD (VCD format) so that i can play it in my car.

WMA is audio ONLY..its like an MP3...mpeg is low quality video...they are two different animals

When I right click on the video icons and goto "properties", it tells me that the "type of file" is "Windows Media Audio/Video file"

Do the files end with a .WMV extension? I think those are the video equivalents to .WMA files. I have no idea if you can convert to MPEGs, although you MUST be able to somehow...

If they truly are WMA files, that's weird, because NT2SHBBY is right...they should only be audio.

wmv is video neptune is correct...you must mean this


to convert this is simple-

google a search for wmv to mpg and you will find somethin freeware to help you
