I am considering getting a Python 1500 security+remote start system installed, and wish to know if others have had it done, and what your experiences have been.

Also wish to know how much you paid (incl. installation) for it.

Here's the thoughts, concerns:

I just wanted a remote starter for the cold mornings, however I would have to keep a second remote in my pocket, and also pay an extra $40 for another one for my wife. If I buy the Security + Remote start, I can replace the Nissan remote with this, and have all features in one remote.

Anyone have any other ideas on how I can accomlish this with less money?
