static in speakers?

static in speakers?

I just re-ran my wires and now there is some static in my speakers. What could cause this and what should i double check? Thanks

what wires did you re-run? if it was speaker wires, then check to see that there are no cuts in the speakers insulation anywhere...it could be grounding...or you might have a loose connection on a speaker...also check that the RCA's arent binding up or cut in anyway...and that they fit snug on the amp and headunit
