got a 00 maxima and the rear bose sub is not working right.

in my 00 maxima the sub has not been working right. At first it did not play so I turned the radio off then back on and it worked. Now it will not work but at random times it will just start working. Turned the car on today was working and I was like yea, then pop and it stopped.

does anyone know what could cause this and how to fix it?

 

the cause? - it's a BOSE

the fix? - replace entire BOSE system

do you think it is the speaker or amp? If it is the speaker what would be a good one to replace it with that the amp will push?

I could not find anything but what rms is the stock bose amp? Also is it 2,4, or 8ohms?
