Any one here has heard of this, having linux in the X box?

yea. i soldered an Xecuter2 chip in my xbox so i could use xbmp. never put gentoox on it though, it would be fun to try. i could probably help you if you need any tips, just ask.

You don't need linux to do it. Just get a modchip and get gentoox or any OS then put in a bigger harddrive.

The hard drive in the Xbox is only an 8GB drive.

My friend put his spare 80GB drive in it and has all kinds of stuff on it.

yea i have a 120Gb. it's nice too! you can save games, movies, music.... it's a godlike piece of equipment and would be perfect for car applications!

got a 200GB in mine with Xecuter 2.3lite. Movies, music, games, ****, etc. all at your finger tips.
