actually theres a couple companies making those type of headunits this year... kenwood and eclipse have models coming out soon as well.

Some of the new Eclipse ones are already released. I have already received the AVX-2404 in stock, waiting for the Navi and Hard drive units to come in now.

That one should be in this week. Also will be installed in a 2k2 the same day it arrives.

The factory look is what they were targeting as the same units will soon be used in the new Lexus models for factory Navi.

The Rosen one isn't new really. They are using the same pics as the NecVox model. It was about 1200 bones

This is correct, the r6500 is about 2+ years old.

Per our convo, don, still looking for best price, etc on the Eclipse AVN 2454, I've made up my mind and will wait on a Commander to go with the 2454.

May sound odd, but is a GD even possible for this one in say, 4 weeks?
