Soundstream Rubicon Subs...help

Soundstream products are an great $$$ buy right now for exellent products....

I'm ditching my 2 MTX 6000 10's because I'm looking into an SQ set up......I believe I'm going with a single Rubicon R-12SQ in a sealed to be powered by a Kicker ZR360 amp....

or .......

I might use channels 3/4 off my Arc Audio CXL 4150 (85 x 4 or 320 X2) to run this sub and run channels 1/2 in parallel (2ohms) to run my highs (Arc ACS265 components and Arc Kar 6.5" coaxes)

Any of you have any experience with these subs...first hand or know a friend...
Any constructive comments appreciated..

Thanx- Manny

can't say i'm familiar with their subs, but just by the name it should be decent or better. How much were you looking to spend on the sub/s?

no more than ~$300 on the sub itself....

Don (pearl96max) showed me a 10" today and I was very impressed visually by the basket/magnet structure, surround and the cone is beautiful (carbon fiber) but did not have the pleasure to hear it (it was a customers)

Look at their EXACT subs. They are their SQ line. Not that you probably won't be happy with the Rubicons, but check them out.

the Rubicon is also in their SQ line, the Exact isn't the only one.

OMG! This ARC CXL 4150 is a beast! I installed my new SQ Rubicon 12" yesterday and I'm glad I ditched those mtx's because this 12 shyts on them.....Although I haven't cranked them (break in)
at moderate levels the sub truly shines and provides clean lows....IMO you cannot possibly get a better SQ sub for the price these can be bought for....highly recommended!

if u like SQ it sucks, if u like SPL it shakes ur filling loose, and if u dont have fillings, then someone elses filling might vibrate out of there mouth and into urs, and u will then have loose fillings in ur mouth....eeeew that was nasty
