I am trying to figure our how to build an enclosure for 2 rockford fosgate hx2 subs. I am planing on making one large enclosure raised up no more than 2 inches from the regular floor. What i want to do is make a baffle that is 29 x 29 use expanding foam for the curves under the baffle and then spray the interior of the spare well tub with four cans of sound deading spray. That should give me nearly the right air space for the two subs. Will i have any problems doing this instead of fiberglassing the tub. Thanks for any help or advice you guys can give me.

Well i looked at that low rider euro article and they did not fiberglass the tub so i figured if i just damped the tub and sealed it and doubled the baffle board it would be fine.

I would not recomend either if your car is an everyday driver. You will love the look, but hate the sound. Especially if you spent a lot on those subs because you will not be maximizing the cubic feet of your trunk. I had that setup in my accord and I ended up taking it out after about a month because it sounded better when I had a 10" Polk in a single bandpass. Stay away from that spare tire well stuff...Its only for show, not for quality sound.
