FUNNY!! anyone else ever have this problem.. audio problem fixed..finally

LOOK AT BOTTOM FOR FINAL ISSUE AND POINT OF THE STORY ABOVE

well i must say it was not fun.. the whole problem costed me about 1100. well it started when i got my AVH-p6500dvd player.. spent there 1100. after installing i noticed a slight problem when all the sudden the interior speakers went dead, yet the bass still played. i have a RF 700s. after taking out that hu i put my old pioneer p630 in. after a few weeks i noticed a cut out in the sound when the basss hit. after changeing my jl 12w6 to my old RF he2 i noticed a burn mark on the interior of the box for the jls. i then hooked up the 700s, 2 12 inch he2's, and my new DvH-p7000. all up./. i still got the cut out. make an even longer story short...

the problem was when the bass hit the bars that support the trunk were coming in close enough to make contact with the rear deck speaker terminals. so i either have to trun the speakers around or insulate those bars.. or both..

anyone else have that prob.??? feel free to coment.. please.. id love to hear peoples remarks on this..

this has been the most tedious and annoying thing i have ever gone through. im glad its over and thatnks for ur time.

blake

Well, never had that problem. But common sense would tell most people to keep metal away from the speaker terminals.

I don't think pulling the bars out a bit is the solution. Eventually they will go back in proper alignment or the trunk will get stuck. Use some insulated terminals and heat shrink, or solder the connection and use heatshrink.
