INFINITY KAPPA'S tweeters to harsh

I just installed all new infinity kappa 3-ways in my 3rd gen se (6x9's in back and 6.5's front) running of a rockford power series 551x and they sound really well but the tweeters can get real harsh at times. its getting annoying cause im always having to adjust the treble to various cd's. If you guys have any opinions as what would be a better swap for the infinitys let me know......ive heard great things about diamonds, focal and others let me know what you think ; also ill probly run a component set instead of the 3-way or 2-way speakers thanks

cdt cl61'a's $150 and a great deal. a more laid back "warm" sound especially when compared to infinity kapas. my friend has a kappa component set and the highs just sound too tinny and trying to make noise.

do you work for CDT?
I've been in the forum for a while, and you're always selling!

no. but for $150 they are a great deal... especially since they come with a 3 year warranty from an authorized dealer. there is no more bang for you buck imo than those.

i always thought it funny how people push the cdts too. they do it on sounddomain all the time. not to say that they are bad speakers, because they really are good; but they dont fit everyones needs. some people might find them very lacking in highs and that they dont have enough midbass. but it is true, they are very "warm"

I would go with Crystal or CDT's.

I bought crystals with silk tweeters, installing them after spring break
