dumb question but please answer anyway

alrite im replacing the speakers and head unit in my 2000 bose, and im not putting an amp or sub at all (im taking out the stocks)

this is what i got
blaupunkt san jose
infinity reference 6000cs
infinity kappa52.5i
wiring harness
antenna adapter

now
i believe this is what i do, correct me if im wrong:

connect the loose wires from the Blaupunkt and connect to the loose wires coming out of the wiring harness
then snap in the wiring harness to the OEM harness/cable
BUT, how do i integrate in the new speaker wires that i've run from each crossover? do i tap into the stock? if so, how? or do i even need aftermarket speaker wire at all?

this "project" is taking me FOREVER...i wanna listen to CORMEGA..plz help, i'd really appreciate it

thanks.

I don't have a crossover but I might be able to help. 1) You have the HU thing all correct.
2) Now when you disconnect the stock speakers splice those wires then you'll be able to connect/plug them into the crossover.
3) You will need the extra speaker wires (assuming your speakers came with the wires like most do) to connect to the speakers and the crossover.

**Note** Since you are using the infinities you may end up doing an amp in the near future because HU power sucks trust me. I thought I didn't need one either with regular triaxle speakers I was wrong.

Hope this helps. If I am wrong please correct me.

thanks for the response.

im not sure what u mean tho...are you saying cut off the harness for the stock speaker wires, and attach them to the (+)/(-) for each infinity speaker itself?

Don't connect the speaker wires directly to the infinity speakers. Connect those wires to the crossover (+)(-) inputs. Now you can connect the tweeters and the speakers to the crossover in the out (+)(-). When you connect these you have to use the aftermarket speaker wires to hook these up to. Most speakers come with these wires and their adapter hook up thingy
