Amp turn on problem !!!

Amp turn on problem !!!
Well im trying to hook up two amps, and i am running the remote turn on wire from the head unit. The amp for the interior speaker works, but when I try to hook up my sub amp nothing works. Why would this happen? Is the sub amp shorting this turn on wire. I have no idea. Thanks
