I'm sure this has been answered before , i couldn't get the search to work? i've got an 02' and i'm installing a delphi skyfi , where did you guys pull you 12v source from (for the fm modulator) the radio or the fuse box? , where did you hide the modulator , and where did you attach the antenna? thanks

 

ive always hid them behind the radio somewhere, buried in the dash. ive done tons of skifi systems.

grab the 12v from the radio, it has plenty of power to power the delphi and the radio without any worry of the wire being too small..

what kind of antenna you talking about? the skifi one? if so most go on the roof, center mounted, make sure you use the magnetic mount, best for the paint, etc...

 

thanks , ya i have the magnetic mount skyfi ant. according to studman's "audio sys wiring colors" the 12v ignition on -the wire # is 10 (are they numbered) -the base sys color is purple - and the bose sys color wire is yellow coming out of the head unit, that's the same wire?
i'm guessing that i need to look for a wire # 10 or a yellow wire coming out of the bose head unit?

 

I have a 3rd gen Maxima you can take a look at my pics of the XM, tho i don't have any bose system in my car anymore
