Pioneer CD PLAYER?? HELP!

I just bought a Pioneer DEHP3600 for my 2001 Maxima. I was just wondering if there is anyway to change the brightness level of the display. Because of the angle it is sometimes hard to see.

im not positive but on my deh 7500 if you hold down function when its off a menu will come up and one of the settings is brightness not sure if that helps at all but its worth checking out
