A few wiring questions

As a newb to audio installs, i have a few questions about wiring...

-Where/how do pull up the carpet to run the wires to battery and the HU?
-Does it matter if you wire the power and the RCAs together on the same side of the car?
-Is it better to start at the trunk and work my way to front or vice versa?

thanks for checking out the thread...oh btw, I have a 93' GXE if it matters...

Ben

You MUST run power and rcas on separate sides of the car or you will hear nasty interference, as far as where to start i think that depends on personal preference i like to work from the front of the car to the back. As far as the carpet im not enitrely sure b/c ive never really messed with a third gen.
Good Luck - RaGa

To get under the carpet:
Open all the doors. And take off the door sills (the part you step over when you get in the car) They should be plastic screws. Then take the plastic piece that runs along the side of the inside of the car (on the side of the front seats). Then the carpet is just clipped underneath the door sills. Just pull it up and viola, your carpet is up. Shouldn't take more than 5 mins.
