CD changer on 01 Max

Guys, I just bought the Clarion 6-disc changer for my '01 Max - the one designed for our vehicle. I thought it would be an easy installation, but maybe not. So a few questions for those who have have gone through this before...

1. Do all Maxima's come pre-wired for the CD changer? I have the factory BOSE system with CD-chager controls, and I really hope that I can just open the trunk, connect 2 wires and screw in the changer.

2. If Maxima's are not pre-wired, where can I get the main cable/harness that connects to the head unit and streches into the trunk? How expensive are they?

3. Anything else I should be thinking of?

Any help would be truly appreciated.

I too am looking at installing a CD changer in my 97 GLE with the factory bose system. Could someone give some details on the procedure?

Thanks.
