CD Cleaners
I don't use them I'd rather not mess with the CD Lens alignment. Typically you should try to just keep your CD's clean to keep the dust down. I know it's hard but it's the best thing.
I remember having a huge problem with dust on my CD's affecting the performance of my Kenwood changer. I had to get that unit's laser aligned twice due to the effects of dust and debris that would get on the CD's and inside the magazine.
One reason why your deck installed CD players are usually less affected by dust is that they have those dust brushes at the opening so the CD's get swept as they are inserted to the deck. Most car changer's don't have any such precleaning of the CD's as they are trolleyed or placed onto the playing mechanism.
