CDT CL-6x Speakers- How are they for front stage?
CDT CL-6x Speakers- How are they for front stage?
I don't want to mess w/ components at this time. I saw the CDT CL-6x on thezeb and had heard good things about CDT, but some other threads on here downed the CDT CL-6x even in rear-fill applications.
So how are the CDT CL-6x?

ive never seen anyone down the cl6x's. i have them in the back and they are great for rear fill, especially at the price. however, i highly recommend you mess with components, aka the cl61a's. its not that hard but its def. worth it.
I have had tons of component sets in the past, in the max and in other vehicles. I just hate fooling with the aiming and all, b/c if not properly aimed, you might as well just have coaxials.

So BTT- what do people think of those CDTs as a prospective front-stage speaker?
i dont know how the bose location is but mine fit perfectly in there. im guessing as long as the tweeter is 3/4 it wil fit. but anyway, what about getting the cl6x's, putting them in the front, and if you dont like them, throw em in the back?

How many wats do the coaxials need to sound good? How about the components?
well the coaxes are 40 watts rms and i have them off the h/u in the back and they sound good. i also have the components off the h/u and they sound good, but not much midbass but my bass would make the midbass hardly audible anyway. cdt says all the cl61's need are 40-50 watts even though the rms is 90.
