put L brackets on your sub box and secure them to the trunk floor or seat back

It tends to sit in the sagging part of the trunk over the spare tire well, lol. But I will be making a false floor and using l-brackets to secure it.

hey kojiro, can u make a write up of some orts on hwo to exactly do this. i keep my sub box right over the spare tire because it osunds the best there, but it constantly slides around. using velcro just moves the box with the carpet, and screwing lbrackets into carpet does nothing also.

take out cardboard flooring, add 1/4-1/2 plywood floor. drill L brackets (4-front,back,left, and right)into the flooring, place box b/t brackets. this way you don't have screw into box and you get rid of the sagging in trunk. or you could follow above directions and screw it into the box, then the floor. I figure save your box and just set the box in the middle of all brackets.

I am going to do this also. My "plan of attack" is to remove the trunk carpet, lay it on a sheet of 1/2" plywood or mdf (probably plywood), trace the outline of the carpet, cut with a jigsaw, then glue the carpet to the plywood so it doesn't slide everywhere. is there a better way to do it?
