Radio wire color codes "need quick Response"

Radio wire color codes "need quick Response"

I need a quick answer to this question.. Im installing subs into a 1997 Nissan Maxima using the Factory Cd Player "non-bose", and I have the line out converter but Im not sure what wire colors to tap into does anyone have the wire color codes or has done this before?...thanks for the quick responses

okay, you have a line out converter?? is that like an rca cable or something? All you need to do is splice an rca cable into 1 channel and then run that to your amp

Please do not do this. You will be very unhappy with the results. As well as shopping for new equiptment.

its a stock h/u...worth appx $5...

okay, you maybe right don...ive done it before...nothing bad happened...is it because the amp draws too much amps? cause those suckers stock are like 25w arent they?

Unless the amp can accept speaker-level inputs through the RCA's. I know my a/d/s can....

To clarify, you hook the speaker wire to the converter then plug the RCA male ends into the amp. The converter takes a crappy HU with no RCA outs and gives it to em, though I would recommend getting a decent HU instead.
