anyone want to crossover the rear bose?

i installed crossovers on my rear bose speakers using capacitors my estimate is that the crossovers were high pass at about 185-190 hz, if anyone is interested i have a pair of them for the rear, and would be willing to sell them if anyone wants, just let me know

x-over question

did you install these for all your bose speakers or just the rear? The rear's in my max put out a lot more bass then the front's. how much is the bass cut when these are in w/regular stereo settings? I'd like to do something like this for my front mids.

also, when you say "high pass at about 185-190 hz" did you take into account that the bose speakers are like 1/2 ohms? just wondering...

just the rears, i didnt bother with the fronts since i didnt notice too much distortion coming out of them at loud volumes with the bass up / half way. the bass cut is pretty large, i noticed a big difference right away. the basically become strictly mid range speakers.

as far as the resistance of the bose speaker, they are "rated" at about 1 ohm but they test at about 1.8 - 2 ohms, and this was all taken into account when i did this
