Question regarding Infinity Components...

Hey, I have a question about the Infinity Kappa 50.5cs Component system. Does anyone recommend them as a good component system? I have been told that the focal sytems are better... this true?

Also, when I go to buy the set, is it just the woofer, crossover, and tweet, or one complete set for the left and right? Meaning, they cost roughly $130, so I would need to get two to do front and rear... correct? Is it pretty hard or just hook everything up to the crossovers and go?

Thanks for any info... Obviously I'm new to this

when you buy them you receive a pair.

One 'pack' for your left door and one for your right.
YOu should buy the 6.5 inch size speakers.

For the rear of your car , don't use speakers or buy midbass speakers.

Amplify your speakers, it makes a world of difference, i would recommend many things over the kappas but they are good speakers.

CDT CL-61a on www.thezeb.com and are 149.99 and are IMO much better than those.

YOu can also get the crystal cpe60 speakers on ebay or cpe60s (which i have) brand new for about $68. These speakers i would also take over the kappas , i have them and my friend has the kappas and i definitely like the sound of mine more.

HOpe i helped a bit more. Feel free to IM me at ahut2000 (AIM) if you have any questions and i can go into more detail about everything!

Thanks for the reply. Tried IMing you but I guess you aren't online.

So if I really wanted to get in debt, go with the CDTs. But you say you have Crystals? I couldn't find any listed on eBay. Only place I could find them was sounddomain. Not too popular I suppose.

What type of music would the cdts and crystals be good for? I listen to a lot of metal and hard stuff. Little bit of rap.

Thanks again for the reply,
drew

I have kappa's components in my doors and 6x9 kappas in the rears. They sound great but you really should get an amp, I'm using an Alpine V12. Check my page for some picks of the seperates and the 6x9. If you have any questions im me.
