Question on some DB Drive 6.5s

Ok I wanted to put some 6x9's in the rear deck and replace my 6.5's in the front door panels. The guy at the local place in town (D-Tronics) suggested some DB Drive 6.5's that had a little box connected to the speaker. He said it helps the speaker last longer and ups the mids and highs. I don't know if they were really worth it. They were like $180 for the pair, I think. But he said I should get 2 pairs instead but I want a little bit of bump from the 6x9's. I MIGHT even hook up a 4-way amp to all the speakers considering it is a viable option (but that would be later on). I'd also use some dynamat speaker kits, for that extra lil boost of better sound.

My Sony X-plode are damn near shot, not nearly as bad quality as when I bought them, it's worse now. DAMN SONY! Help me out fellas...

w/e hes talking about, whether it be a cap to block low frequencies from the speakers or not, this place does not sound too knowledgeable, id stay away.

It was kind of wierd...there was some wiring then a little transparent small box maybe no bigger than 3" then a little bit more wring to the speaker.....he said it helped the mids and highs.......Should I just go with some high end Pioneer 6.5s? This was kind of intriuging* (spelling) Anyone wanna check this out on their site?

id look elsewhere for speakers. pioneer's are not bad, but imo you can find better for cheaper.
