Speakers in the door

I just bought 6.5inch infinity speakers for the door ... but when i went to install them they dont fit.... im no radio whiz but there has got to be a way to install them without making a big deal.... i wanted to use the bracket that was on the stock speakers but they are glued on ..... what do i do ....do i make some kind of bracket which i would have no idea how to do .. or do i rip out the stock speaker and put the new speaker in that bracket...and even if i do that will it all fit nice and flush without problems.....
p.s.
the search isnt working so sorry if this question was asked a million times already

dont worry man. you can either cut out the old speakers and put the new ones in.. or buy a 1" spacer kit from BB,CC. but you may have to make new holes which requires drilling but its not that bad.

I cut a ring out of 3/4 " MDF as a spacer using the new speakers install bracket as a template....
