3 sets of tweeters?

i have an xtra set of tweeters, and wondering if/where i should mount them. currently i have 1 set near the side view mirrors aiming towards the windsheild, and 1 set on the rear deck facing the rear glass....these are aluminum tweeters, hence i face them away cause they r a lil harsh....but i have a 3rd set layin around, ne of u guys think of a good spot i could mount these?

Unless you really want your ears to bleed keep them in your garage. There are a few systems out there that use a super tweeter mounted high to bring the image up. So if you have one in either the kick panel or the door you can put on in the pillar or dash to help elevate the imaging. Of course you need to cross it over properly.

If you REALLY want two sets of tweeters up front (which I doubt you'll need) then I suggest you try mounting them temporarily with velcro or something to see where they sound best. You also might want to consider using a dedicated amp channel to drive them so you can adjust their output.

Yes I';d agree w/ Tody more power.

They wouldn't be too easy but definately doable...have you considered horns? They're real efficient (get reeal loud), sound great, and image well.

Actually, I wasn't necessarily implying more power...I was saying that he'd have a way to adjust the volume output. If anything, I suspect he would probably be cutting the power in relation to the other set of tweeters already up front. Hard to tell, though...which is why it'd be nice to have it adjustable.
