Help Hooking up Components

For those with components how did you wire you crossovers and speakers. I have a some CDT CL641 3 Ways coming in tomorrow and I am trying to visualize where to run my wires from my amp to the doors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

well it depends on where you have your amp at. but for the xover i put the left in the kick panel and for the right i put it behind the dash. and for the speakers i drilled holes in the door to run new speaker wire to the stock locations.

what part of the door did you drill your hole at? Towards the front of the door or the back or in the middle?

i drilled near where the stock grommet it. i drilled in the front of the door on the inside where you can only see it if the door is open. and then i drilled into the car to put the wire in. didnt take long.

Should I be worried about hitting anything when I drill into the car?

i took a hanger straped with a speaker wire and poked through the gromet on the body of the car. when i got the wire inside the car, i cut the wire to a right amount and put the other end into the doors gromet. if running more than 1 wire, just do the same thing once you get 1 cable in. strap another wire to the wire thats already in and start pulling the inside wire till the other wire is inside the car. then unstrap it and pull the wire back. make sure the first wire is long enough to fish the second wire though.
