okie first of all i admit i'm complete n00b to audio stuff. i've read most of the FAQ and did some research. anyway i'm looking for a simple HU with LCD screen that can play burned cd-r/cd-rw vcds, dvd, mp3s, cds, and radio. anyone has good recommendation? price is also a big concern as well.

lastly...will this any HU work with PAC's ROEM-NIS2? if so, where is the cheapest price to buy this "converter"?

I'd say go with the Eclipse. You can't beat those HU's.

 

I have a screen and the PAC adapter for sale if you want to go a cheaper route. If you have the money for the Eclipse, go for it..

what kind of screen? if it's just a screen do i need to get another DVD/vcd/mp3/cd player source? how much is it? i'm from bay area too...i can drive over to your place and pick it up if you want. if item - cash style works for you

 

Yes, just a screen. In my case I used a modified XBOX to play videos and used my HU for CDs and such..you have PM by the way.
