Does Power Inverter Drain Battery

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I get the feeling it has but I was searching and searching and unable to find an answer so I decided to post it.

I'm planning on getting and power inverter and hooking up some devices inside the Max, but I'm wondering will using say a PS2, drain my battery down? I just have to stock battery nothing fancy, would I need to invest in a better battery before I do this, or is the stock one just fine?

thanks

Stock one should be fine, as long as you do not run any components from the power inverter with the car off for extended periods of time. I have one that actually shuts off when the power gets low, so I can still start my car. I have not had it do that yet, as I just start my car up before it gets to that point. I only run a Gamecube to it.
