i know someone did this before but im looking for
a way to make a system (i am very talented when it comes to computers just not hardware stuff) the system i want it to play my cds and show win amp or real juke box visualizations on a monitor ( ex. headrest) heres the thing
im looking to keep it all contained and mabey have the cd drive custom mounted up front and have the unit in the trunk
or mabey i could just use the out puts on my headunit and put that feed into the computer. anyone that is willing to help me ill pay for your troubles.

I can help with the computer end of it, but it sounds like you need an audio guy more than a computer guy.

I would recommend going and talking to your local audio shop, I know the one up the street from me has some amazing skills when it comes to do anything multimedia in a car.
