Okay,
First off.
You need to read the forum STICKIES on the top of the page, it will explain why you cant search and most your answeres will be there.
Second.

Welcome to the ORG.

And finally for wiring your IPOD. I think there is actually a setup that you can buy for doing that. Research it on google.com

hard wire, to custom install the mp3 player into the back of your deck. heres a simple example on a vw touareg, they bought a mount that recharges their player and plugged it in the cig lighter.

i really would like to see 4th gen maximas instead of other cars

I'm actually interested in doing the same thing - there must be a way to use the CD changer in the Bose HU (if you have 4th gen). I am looking up how now..

Some of Alpine's new units will be able to have an Ipod connected to them. You will be able to control some of the Ipod's functions as well. Here is the link:

I'm thinking the only way to do it keeping an existing Bose HU is to use a simple switch that switches between your HU outputs and the Ipod. It would be really primitive, but unless you know the comm protocol for the changer, there is no other way to use the HU.

I'm using the tape adapter w/ the bose and it sounds great - never got around to a hardwire. Here's an idea - I mount my Ipod in the pop-out ash tray (gotta remove the ashtray insert). It's a perfect fit, even w/ my ipod skin sleeve and I can read the display while driving!
