how do RCA's hook up to the HU?

i took out my HU today to look at the back, and saw 3 sets of inputs:

- Right (red and white)
- Left (red and white)
- Bus in (red and white)

im getting a 4channel speaker amp and a Sub amp from hifonics....
- the speaker amp is coming first.

i have already run 2 sets of RCA's for both amps, but.....

HOW IN THE WORLD DO I HOOK THE RCA'S TO THE BACK OF THE HU??? is it even possible with this HU?

any input will help, because i want to get this hooked up as soon as i can

which hu do you have? cause htey normally have descriptions next to the rca's saying front, rear or sub. my hu has all three. i didn't think most hu's came with an input. i was under the impression that you had to buy an extra cord.

I dunno how you hook up the subwoofer ones. I guess if your amp has an output you hook the subwoofer RCA's to the output

knowing what headunit you have would be helpful. It should be labeled front, rear, and sub.

Get us brand and models for amps and HU, that will help.

It sounds like you do not have RCA outputs on your head unit. The Right and Left are speaker level outputs, amplified by the HU. Depending on your amp, you might have to get a line output converter, such as this. That will convert your speaker level outputs to RCAs and then you can run the RCAs to your speaker amp. Then for the subs you will have to use the passthrough RCA output on your 1st amp and run short RCAs from there to the sub amp. If you tell us exactly what amps and HU you have then I can give you a more definate answer as to your wiring options.

Have you considered getting a new HU? If you are considering a new HU in the near future, then you might want to wait to hook up the amps then because the new HU will most likely have Front/Rear/Sub RCA outputs.

http://www.affsave.com go there and get the aoem-nis2 it will give you 4 rca outs from the factory bose hu. 60 bucks there 80 or 100 else where, but it's the only way to get the best signal.
