ok guys.. need help with bose (for a friend)

well my buddy just got a 2k maxima with bose (good choice!). he wants to install his 500/1 and his w3's into the bose. i told him i have a reliable source to figure this out...maxima.org. so what do i have to do to get his system installed properly? were DIYing it too. i figure we need 4 gauge wire for batt, grnd. does the 2k bose h/u have preouts? basically i need a write up of some sort or how to do this so i can basically do it for him. thanks guys!

The only other way I can think of is the PAC adapter.
