DVD, LCDs, wiring question

I'm installing a DVD player under the passenger seat, and two LCD screens in the headrests of my 01 Max. The DVD player, and screens have their own fuses, my question is ... can I tap the accessory plug (rear cigarete lighter), to get the power for all these, or do I have to run it back to the fuse box? I also have a video distribution amplifier, do I need to do anything special to wire this in?

Thanx...

You can tap those into your rear cigarette lighter plug, but first test the wiring and make sure that you are getting a full 12v charge out of it. I just wouldn't try using the cigarette lighter plug for anything else. As Far as the VDA goes, I would tap into a different power source for that.
