[SIZE=1]Well I am new here! only posted about 5 times so lemme start by saying HI! Anywho,
I own a 96 MAXIMA I think it has to to be a GXE, due to there is no bose system and its not a SE. But, What a car!!! Moving on. The sound in my car SUCKS!! The display in the headunit is shot to hell. and the volume is all jacked up. Now to the speakers. I beleive them to be blown, and would like to replace. However, the rear speakers seem rather small?!?! They arent the avrg size i see in other Maximas. Cant really explain that. I owned a 93 LE Camrey and the speakers were at least twice the size. If i am to REPLACE the speakers must i get the same "small size" i think its like 13". LOL. Or can that be modded to a bigger size? Would that be costly?

Last if i have to keep the smaller speakers in the back, would the sound ever sound "good" without the system? (cant afford yet) and what speakers would anyone recommened??

speaker size for a 96 is 6-3/4(oversized 6-1/2s) all the way around. please take a look in the FAQs. you should find it to be very useful. welcome of the org.
